Marketing Communications Manager (Marcom Manager)

At the center of all marketing communications, you set the guidelines for the company’s strategy and direct the development of all collateral and supporting materials.

Depending on the corporation, you might oversee all internal and external communications, or you might manage the advertising and PR agencies that handle them for you. Regardless, your primary focus is to ensure integration and consistency in all communication efforts.

To do so, you will devise and execute integrated marketing communications strategies – including traditional, digital, paid and earned tactics – that will set the company apart, ensuring audience engagement and ROI.

Analytical thinking and a creative approach are essential to help you identify the most effective channels to reach your relevant audience, and connect with them through the appropriate tone and messages.

You will developing materials, presentations and other supporting materials for launches, campaigns and other product and service marketing efforts; as well as sales meetings, tradeshows and events. Some of these materials include: brochures, collateral, print and digital advertising, corporate websites, case studies, marketing campaigns, newsletters, product sheets, email campaigns, and white papers – to name a few.

Some of your closest collaborations will be with the marketing and product management teams, and other cross-functional departments such as customer service, sales, and operations.

Tools of the Trade: Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint; other office related software. Working experience: Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus.
