Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist
You are in charge of optimizing your client’s site organically – ensuring it ranks well in the top search engines and elicits traffic without the client having to pay for them. To do this, you’ll use descriptive tags, good HTML coding, keyword density, and manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI while ensuring their site is found during spidering.
Other responsibilities include to conduct analysis, enhance copy and landing pages; keyword discovery, expansion and optimization; manage campaign expenses and results; research competitors; produce search-ranking reports, and track metrics to determine abandonment, link popularity and rankings.
Working closely with the marketing and communications teams will allow you to ensure their content creation includes the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM, and recommend changes as needed.
Tools of the Trade: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, search engines, algorithms, and website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, and WebTrends). Working experience with bid management tools (such as Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite). Good writing and grammar skills
