Production Manager
PRODUCTION MANAGER / Hybrid position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee all aspects of production, purchasing, and execution of client marketing programs. Reporting to the [relevant position], you will collaborate with client stakeholders, internal team members, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are purchased and executed to guarantee quality outcomes, competitive pricing, and successful delivery.
Responsibilities
Gather project requirements and manage all production aspects on behalf of the client, including working with vendors on delivery timetables and maintaining up-to-date status of assigned projects.
Input all project specifications and relevant data into an internal procurement system, maintaining key data points such as customer quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
Execute projects within contract-specified timelines, adhering to budget requirements and maintaining quality standards.
Build strong relationships and communication channels with clients to ensure smooth workflow and successful project handoffs.
Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery within budget.
Efficiently execute production in accordance with established business processes.
Identify and develop programmatic solutions that are both beneficial and economical for the client and our organization.
Provide high-quality customer service by delivering appropriate and relevant status updates to clients.
Assist Account Managers in compiling account and project updates for key presentations as directed.
Escalate production issues immediately to management.
Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Team to investigate potential suppliers and provide recommendations based on manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and schedule availability to derive cost efficiencies for projects or campaigns.
Foster a consultative partnership with the client to improve the achievement of marketing goals on assigned projects.
Ensure consistent achievement of service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with client standards, contractual requirements, and internal KPIs for operational efficiency.
Attend press checks as required and ensure necessary subject matter experts are present to effectively manage the process.
Requirements:
3+ years of product category production experience. Experience with pharma customers is a plus.
Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record of successful purchasing experience in a manufacturing, client, or agency environment.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel.
Demonstrated aptitude in learning new technology for application in a professional environment.
Ability to work independently with a strong drive to continually hit goals and succeed.
Excellent client communication and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
Experience excelling within fast-paced, high-energy environments.
This is a full-time opportunity working hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days offsite) in the East Hanover, NJ area. This is not a fully remote position. The annual salary is $55k-75k, based on experience. To apply, please submit your resume and portfolio link/case studies for immediate consideration.
