CAD Furniture Draftsman Designer

Role: CAD Draftsman Designer 

Temp, onsite

Hourly rate: $45.00- $50.00 (based on experience)

We're seeking a skilled CAD Designer Draftsman for a temporary 2-4 month assignment. As a key member of the team, you'll collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive client presentations and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and draft detailed layouts, plans, and installation drawings using CAD (AutoCAD preferred)
Utilize 2020 Cap for product sourcing, design development, and proposal generation
Create engaging Look Books, design presentations, and proposals tailored to client needs and budgets
Collaborate with sales representatives to develop concepts, drawings, and design solutions
Present proposals and design concepts to clients and sales teams
Manage orders, track tariffs, and ensure accurate pricing

Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or related field
Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD preferred) and experience with Revit
Strong skills in 2020 Cap and familiarity with DDMS (ERP) for project management
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of commercial furniture products and design trends highly desirable
