Job Description:
A disruptive mattress company is looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join their full-time team and the mission to reshape the world's thoughts about sleep and the impact it can have in people's lives.
You will report to the Head of UX/UI and work with leaders and peers across other departments like Marketing, Merchandising, Product, Engineering, Creative and Copy teams. As a UX Designer it is expected that you craft engaging and beautiful UX from concept to execution, in order to offer inspiring shopping experiences that drive brand perception, conversion, and customer satisfaction.

As a UX Designer you will:
- Lead the design process from ideation to execution
- Work for user-centered design in all steps
- Organize research and product information into user flows, interactive prototypes, interaction designs, visual design mocks and specifications for dev
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies and A/B testing
- Plan user research studies and to understand customer and validate product concepts
- Partner with other UX designers and engage with multiple project partners across the company: product managers and engineers, UX researchers, marketing managers
- Simplify problems into practical design solutions using user research and data
- Work within an existing design system maintaining graphic standards and branding

Our ideal UX Designer has these skills and experience:
- 3-5 years related experience in UX design
- Experience in E-commerce
- Interest in testing and a curiosity for the new
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, ability to clearly articulate design decisions & problems
- Experience with iterative design process: incorporating feedback, launching quickly and testing
- User-oriented, focused on building the right experience for customers
- Detail-oriented while also having the ability to see the bigger picture
- Expert in common design and prototyping tools: Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InvisionApp
- Interest in taking on new challenges and risks, entrepreneurial spirit
- Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced, self-starter environment
